Dear Patrons, Pupils and Well-wishers of St. Thomas Gandhidham,

I am privileged to address you all through this website of St Thomas School Gandhidham.

The concept of education has changed and evolved considerably in this 21st century. It has become synonymous to competition, pressure and success in some spheres “Education is the realization of the best in man - body, soul and spirit.” The view of Gandhi on education is appropriate as education should create individuals who are fully matured in thought, word and deed, and ones who creatively respond to the needs of society.

In St Thomas school we aim to provide a value based, holistic education bearing in mind pupils’ intellectual and emotional needs and helping them to excel in scholastic as well as discover hidden talents and kindle them.

I appreciate the Principal and all the teachers as they work together to achieve the goal for which St. Thomas stands for. Their efforts are appreciable and well- comprehended from the laurels that the school has achieved over the years. The hard work of the non- teaching staff for the effective day- to- day functioning of the school is also valuable.

The members of MEST (Mar Thoma Educational and Service Trust) and their commitment for the betterment of society by providing quality education are also cherished at this juncture.

May God Almighty’s choicest blessings be with us all to bring to fruition the motto of St. Thomas School “For the Goodness of the World.”
